Cindy Brown is President of Chippewa Valley Bean & Doane, Ltd, a family owned agribusiness that grows, processes and markets dark and light red and white kidney beans grown in the U.S. Cindy is past President of the US Dry Bean Council, serves as board advisor on the American Pulse Association and currently as Executive Vice President of the Global Pulse Confederation (GPC.) She served on the GPC Oversight Committee for International Year of the Pulse 2016 and chairs GPC’s National IYOP/GPD Committee. Cindy’s focus and passion is to continue the Chippewa Valley legacy of quality bean production and to promote pulses as the near perfect food for consumers throughout the world.
